The Modern Spacer Wall Light by Sparc Lights is a 9-inch up-down wall sconce featuring two hourglass-flared micro-perforated acrylic panels mounted above and below a central polished gold cylinder. The LED light source within the cylinder projects upward and downward simultaneously through the perforated acrylic panels, scattering light through hundreds of tiny apertures onto the surrounding wall in a radial starburst pattern. The effect on the wall is the defining feature of this fixture, a rich, dotted wash of light that expands outward in all four directions, turning any plain wall into a dynamic light canvas. Available in Cool White, Natural White, and Warm White.
Most wall lights illuminate a wall. The Spacer Wall Light performs on it. The micro-perforated acrylic panels act as a pattern screen, each tiny aperture refracts and projects a point of light outward, building up into a radiating field of light dots that covers the wall surface in concentric arcs around the fixture. The hourglass shape of each panel, wider at the extremities, pinched at the centre where it meets the gold cylinder, creates a directional flare to the projection: broader above and below, tapering toward the sides. The result is a wall-mounted light that changes the perceived texture of the surface it is mounted on, adding depth and movement that disappears entirely when the light is switched off.
Where It Transforms a Space
The Spacer Wall Light works in any space where wall texture and ambient drama are design goals:
- Living Room Feature Wall, mounted at eye level on a plain painted wall, the starburst projection becomes the room's most dynamic element after dark
- Bedroom Accent Wall, above or beside the headboard, it creates a canopy-like light pattern that makes the entire wall glow
- Staircase— mounted at intervals along a staircase wall, the overlapping starburst patterns create a gallery-corridor effect that evolves as you climb
- Dining Room Side Wall— provides atmospheric ambient wash lighting alongside overhead pendant lighting
- Wall Panels & Fluted Walls, the dotted light pattern plays beautifully against vertical texture, amplifying the relief of the wall surface
